MRUI - Magnetic Resonance User Interface

Overview

MRUI is a Graphical User Interface that allows MR spectroscopists to easily perform time-domain analysis of in vivo MR data: 1D spectra, time-series and 3D-MRSI datasets.

These are some of the algorithms included in the current release,

  • frequency selective filtering of signals
  • correction of eddy-currents artifacts
  • Cadzow enhancement of the FID
  • Linear Prediction
  • non-linear fitting in the time-domain (AMARES, QUEST)
  • quantum-mechanics simulation of spectra (NMR-SCOPE)

To date, more than 1400 research groups worldwide in 53 countries benefit from the MRUI software, and the number keeps growing.

Current versions are,

  • jMRUI v. 4.0 for Java, released on Tuesday 15th September 2009.
  • MRUI 97.2 for Matlab-4.2c, released on
  • MRUI 99.2 for Matlab-5.x and 6.x, released on October 2000 and updated on February 2001, and

MRUI development (1998-2001) was supported by the European Communities project TMR/Networks ERB-FMRX-CT970160, and is presently supported (2006-2010) by the European project FAST - Research and Training Network, MRTN-CT-2006-035801

New jMRUI release (DGD-2009/09/15)

jMRUI v. 4.0 has been released for MS-Windows and GNU/Linux, and is now available at the MRUI FTP site. This version includes many new features.

This release requires the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) of the Java Standard Edition 6.0 (JSE 6.0) or later versions.

MD5 checksums updated to jMRUI v. 4.0

The MD5 checksums available from the web site have been updated to the new jMRUI v. 4.0 distribution files. Use them to ensure the integrity of your downloaded files before uncompressing and installing them.

MRUI Mailing List Archive (MEC-2007/10/24)

The MRUI mailing list is now being archived and available at the MRUI web site. The MRUI Mailing list archive contains all messages posted since 2003, indexed by date and by discussion thread, newer messages being displayed first.
